When you pay for 1gbps connection, and you only see 300-400 on the 5g wireless it is concerning right? No, now let me explain.
Different wireless routers are able to produce "faster" speeds. Most standard routers are able to produce 300-450mbps on a full strength 5g connection.
Ex: The Zyxel we provide can push around 300-400mbps on a full strength 5g connection, whereas an Asus ROG Wi-Fi 6E router can push speeds of around 800-900mbps over wireless.
This is due to new Wi-Fi 6e technology. Most standard consumer grade routers are still utilizing Wi-Fi 5 technology. If you would like to purchase a Wi-Fi 6 or 6E router, feel free to do so. We will set it up like any other router on your account.
