Missing 5g network?

If your 5g network is missing, and you've verified that your network is not meshed, it may be that your device is not capable of seeing a 5g connection.

Not all wireless devices have a 5g radio in them. Most newer devices will have a 5g radio, but that doesn't mean they all do.

A good way to test this is check on a device that you know can see the 5g, ex: 2-year-old or newer iPhone/Samsung. If the devices sees a connection that has _5g at the end, that is

your 5g connection. If a device doesn't see this, that means the device probably doesn't have a 5g radio.

Here is an article explaining how to check your laptop's wireless ability.
